There can be a few reasons for Vaillant boiler failure. Here are some of the issues we most commonly deal with for our London customers:

Central Heating Works but No Hot Water

If your heating is still working but there’s no hot water, there could be a fault with the diverter valve. Combi boilers are fitted with a diverter valve which opens and closes depending on whether hot water needs to be sent to the radiators or taps. A broken diverter valve is a job for a qualified heating engineer. 

Boiler Pressure Drop

A drop in your Vaillant boiler pressure can be caused by several things, for instance a leak in the heating system. It is important to identify and fix any system leaks. WaterGuys will diagnose where the leak is and fix it promptly. It could be something as simple as a loose radiator valve connection. 

Blocked Condensate Pipe

Harmful gases are vented through the condensate pipe. These pipes can get blocked, more particularly in winter when the gases have frozen. The boiler can be reset after the pipes have been thawed out with warm water. 

Vaillant Boiler Overheating

Safeguards are built into Vaillant boilers to lock out the system when a fault is detected.
