Baxi Boiler Not Working?
There can be a few reasons for BAXI boiler failure. Here are some of the issues we most commonly deal with for our London customers:
Central Heating Works but No Hot Water
There could be a problem with your boiler diverter valve, which can get stuck sometimes. This is a common problem with older boilers and can be tricky to fix. It’s always best to call a qualified heating engineer in to fix it.
Boiler Pressure Drop
A boiler can lose pressure for several reasons. Over time, a little air may have entered the system, or there could be a leak somewhere. It could also be a problem with the expansion vessel or the pressure relief valve. WaterGuys are Gas Safe registered engineers with more than 20 years’ experience. We are well placed to diagnose and repair all boiler pressure issues.
Blocked Condensate Pipe
The condensate pipe vents away harmful gases. Occasionally and more often in the colder months, the condensate pipe can get blocked or frozen up. If your Baxi boiler has shut down and is showing error code E133 or E28, you will need to switch the boiler off and gently thaw the pipe before turning the boiler back on and resetting.
